I fondled and held my Pure Wand for quite some time before actually settling down and giving it a test run. For now, let’s get into the specifics of it before diving into my experience.

After practically destroying the discreet brown box, I sat there looking at what was obviously a white box, with the njoy logo, in black. Confused, because I was under the impression that the boxes were black, I messed with the white material and discovered it was just a paper cover, meant to add to the total njoy experience. The box was heavy, which I expected. I opened the lid, and there I sat, face-to-face with my brand new Pure Wand. Lifting it out, I knew it was going to be heavy, but not nearly as heavy as it was. A 1.5 lb steel double-dildo is a lot heavier than it looks. The majority of the weight sits at the larger end of the Pure Wand, where the bulb is a whopping inch and a half (1.5″). The smaller end is still heavy in its own right, but at an inch diameter, it’s not as bad as the other bulb. With the differing weights and sizes of this eight (8) inch toy was quite impressive, considering that it was reasonably priced for steel!

My only, and I do mean only, qualms with the Pure Wand, isn’t the toy itself. It’s the box that it comes in. While looking at the picture of any njoy toy, you imagine that it’s nestled in a bed of red satin-y material. That’s only half true. Your njoy product sits in a bed, with a satin-y lining, but underneath it feels like styrofoam. Aside from that, everything else about the Pure Wand is fantastic. The bulbs are great for G-spot stimulation, P-spot (prostate) stimulation, and even exercising your Kegels. That’s right, Pure Wand, Kegels! As far as my experience with the Pure Wand goes, I had one of *the* best orgasms I’ve had in a while. No joke. I lay there, practically immobilized from ecstasy.

The Pure Wand is amazing for temperature play, because it can be cooled and heated. For the record, a cold Pure Wand is the way to go! It holds your body temperature quite well, which is always a plus. Also, since the Pure Wand is made out of steel, it can be fully sterilized – either boiled, put in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap) or washed in a 10% bleach solution (rinse after). That also means that you can use any kind of lube with the Pure Wand, and it won’t damage it, which is a major plus!

The weight and shape of the large njoy are what stand out at a glance. It manages to be both large and small at the same time by having a unique shape. Its also striking visually with it’s smooth steel finish, so smooth in fact that despite it’s large size it takes far less lube then my other plug (a tantus ryder). Njoy packages the plug in a black plastic box with a foam mold and magenta cloth inside to hold the plug in place (think of a giant ring box). Very nice, its so nice looking in fact I actually felt bad about putting it in my butt the first time.

The large njoy is 1.5 inches wide at the head and it has 3.5 inches of insertable length with a thin loop handle for comfort. It weights about 1 pound and is made of surgical grade steel. The steel gives it a distinctive weight and is nonporous. As an extra bonus can be placed in warm or cold water prior to insertion for a twist. I’ve tried it cold twice now and both times it was a very different sensation than just wearing the plug at room temperature.

The plug’s shape is its most unusual feature; the head of it is shaped very much like a strawberry so it goes in fairly easily but resists coming out, coupled with the thin neck and handle the njoy plug is a wholly different experience from a more conventionally (roughly phallic) shaped plug . With its significant weight you won’t forget that you’re wearing it. The small neck and handle enable it to be comfortably worn all day and even when sitting theres none of the normal discomfort I associate with other plugs.

The size and weight might be too much for some people but thats what the other two sizes are for. The njoy does resist coming out so that while wearing it I’ve never been a concerned that I’d lose it during the day. I ‘d be remiss if I failed to mention that its going to be harder then conventional plugs to take out. I should probably also mention that it took some time for me to get used to removing the plug after having only worn a conventionally shaped plug before. My Ryder, for example, has a comparatively slight change in diameter between the neck and the body of the plug and no ridge but the njoy is short and wide with a very thin neck so it feels bigger when trying to remove it even though the neck is tapered.

If I were to change anything about this toy I’d make it slightly bigger, maybe lengthen the body, in order to make it heavier. I really enjoy the weight of it but want more. In all I really like this plug to the point that its almost completely displaced my other toys.

d every day that the Eleven was not in my home. I’ve adored all the other Njoy toys I’ve had the opportunity to try. The Pure Wand is priceless. The Fun Wand is fabulous. The Pure Plugs are perfection. I keep all my cherished Njoys in a special box where no possible harm can come to them. Now that box has gotten 2.75# heavier due to the addition of the Eleven. And after using the Eleven (many, many times) my soul gradually is coming back to life. While all the other Njoys come packaged in sumptuous pink lined boxes, the Eleven arrives in something even more gorgeous. It’s a leather clutch-like bag with hidden magnetic closures. See? It’s really classy, and if I were a braver woman, I might be tempted to carry the clutch (sans toy) out for a nice dinner. Except that the leather is emblazoned with a tiny imprint of the manufacturer’s name. Maybe some day I’ll screw up my courage and try. I presented it to my pal one night during play-time. After he finished testing its weight (”Damn this is heavy,” quoth he) and marveling over its surface (”So shiny!”), he added some lube and came at me with it. Because I was slightly terrified of the larger end — it’s 2″ across — I had him start with the thinner end. It was absolutely perfect. See the ridges in the picture? Wow. So intense on the g-spot! There was much writhing, much gushing, and oh very much screaming. I didn’t expect such an explosive reaction from the ridges. After enjoying excellent results with the smaller end, my friend flipped the toy over, lubed it up once again and slid it home. I’d expected at least some degree of discomfort from this end — it’s 2″ across! — but had none at all. The stainless steel is so very smooth that with proper preparation and lots of lube, it worked great for me. My friend found that the groves provided an excellent hand-grip when he was using the larger end on me. When he switched back to my preferred smaller end, things got a little slippery for him, but it wasn’t anything that a quick wipe-down with a washcloth couldn’t handle. Stainless steel is a wonderful material for temperature play. Dip it in warm or cool water for a thrilling extra sensation. Even with no additional temperature variation, I found that the Eleven grew oh so hot once it had been in me for a while. My pal took it out and the toy rolled against my leg. It was burning up. The idea that my body and the toy had together generated that much raw heat got me wound up all over again. Clean up is always easy with a non-porous toy like the Eleven. Soap and water, an anti-bacterial cleanser, boiling or a trip through the dishwasher will leave the toy ready for its next use. Don’t use abrasives, and be sure to store the Eleven in a place where it won’t get scratched. If the surface is roughed up, the toy’s beauty will be dimmed, but its functionality will remain intact..

Let me preface this review by pointing out that I tried my first Fun Factory product five years before I ever tried a LELO product. I used to wonder what the hype was about. I loved my Fun Factory products and couldn’t imagine that anything could equal, much less top them. I was wrong. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of testing LELO Luna Beads, Liv, Lily and now Ella.
